© Sarah Liewehr Little chi-chi and all sorts of cocktail variations at Freya Fuchs

The Freya Fuchs is known for all kinds of cocktail variations and an amazingly dark smoking room. Above all, this room as well as the many concrete and little superfluous Chi-Chi make up the charm of the shop. There used to be one here "Bierbrunnen", until the Freya Fuchs came and stole the quaintness of Tegelerstrasse. Well, luckily you can find the men’s place setting at Wedding at some other counters, and so the Freya Fuchs is much more profit than loss.

The Schraders was there long before Wedding was coming. It was to be the living room of the neighborhood and is still a popular and, above all, lively meeting place for hungry neighbors even after more than 15 years. At the beginning of the year the café cup cake became the café Largo. The name is new, the concept is largely the same. American-vegetarian dishes, coffee, pastries and a lunch table. Martin Eschenbrenner brews his own beer at Wedding. The brewery is right next to the beautiful, rustic beer cellar. Visitors can find out about the process and the ingredients at any time. There are the standard types such as Pils, dark and wheat beer, but also more unusual beers like the Dark Bock or the Weddinator. You can also find your own fruit and noble brandies and apple juice on the drinks menu, and in summer a large beer garden invites you to linger longer. Whiskey is also produced here, making Eschenbräu the perfect place for one of the freshest place settings. And you should definitely try the tarte flambée!
