© Christin Otto Korean tapas in Anju

For a long time, the Subbelrather Straße in Ehrenfeld was a shadowy place in terms of gastronomy compared to the busy Venloer. Since the Wallczka, one of the most popular restaurants in the Veedel, has settled there, foodies have been getting lost on the inconspicuous parallel street. This gives hope that the Anju can also exist. Where the Tex-Mex steakhouse previously served The Shepler’s Burger and Co, there is now Korean tapas. Thanks to the small portion sizes, you can try different specialties such as Bibimbab, Kimchi, Bulgogi or Mandu at the same time. Between 12 a.m. and 3 p.m., those who have little use for the tapas concept will get their money’s worth. Then there are Korean dishes in normal portion size – everything under 11 euros.
